Fashion Sings!

I LOVE clothes and shoes. And it doesn’t matter from where. I’ll do Target and Neiman Marcus in the same day and mix it up. It looks better that way anyway.  But T.J. Maxx is really my go-to retailer.

Like a well-made pencil skirt and a good martini its good putting on and great going down!.

A former fashionista I know is now a potato farmer in Ireland. In school she was the spitting image of the first black super model Beverly Johnson, whom I followed closely, buying every fashion mag with her on its cover or featured in its pages. I met my friend in college and was immediately struck by how much she looked like Beverly…all barely five feet of her.
Anyway, my fashionist-friend-turned-potato-farmer now runs a successful organic farm on the northwestern coast of Ireland. And she’s still a fashionista though more of the gentle-woman farmer variety. I enjoyed my visit to Ireland and seeing it through her eyes. And the catching up, drinking, and confessing was theraputic. I highly recommend it.
