Typically, I’m cautious about buying trendy items. This approach has served me well as I’ve had to watch ever dollar while riding out this economy. But trendy aside my closet needs a spruce-up. Spring is here and summer’s soon on the way. It’s been six seasons without a major closet tuneup and my closet needs help.

1. Get in the Pink!  Pull that sweater, skirt or blouse out of the closet and wear it with gusto. Pair with white, black, beige, brown or yellow.
2. Pants in bold brights or prints.  Pair them with something subdued and tonal on the top.
3. The Clutch is back. Its this season’s bag of choice.
4. Silver shoe – pump, sandal, dress, or flat. This one detail gives you a modern of-the-moment look.
5. Prints! Blouse or dress; bold or low key.
